went golfing for my best friends birthday with a party of 4. great company, absolutely gorgeous weather, and a very enjoyable 18 hole golf course. The biggest issue was the unfortunate fact that they set tee times a measly 10 minutes apart. For 1 or 2 golfers this is acceptable, but certainly not for 4, especially where 1 has never golfed before. This sends a clear message that they're not interested in you having a good time, but are interested in having as many parties filter through the course as possible to maximize profits. we were CONSTANTLY tailed by staff "rangers" who on multiple occasions were requesting us to pick up our pace. to put this in perspective, we didn't even play each of our own shots, but in the interest of keeping up with the pace, we played the best shot of the 4. we continued to be pushed along and finally had enough of that and just skipped a hole, only to wait 10 minutes for the people in front of us to clear the way! just unbelievable. I will absolutely never be returning here, i don't care how nice the course is. It's operated so poorly and the staff made what should have been a terrific experience quite irritating.

Appreciated the work on the course... fairways, sand traps and all kept up nicely. Greens are fast and challenging.. pricing as well was fair especially during the week which is when I went. Plan on playing again there soon.

Great track. Course was in amazing shape - tee boxes, fairways, and greens. Nothing to complain about. Staff was great and accommodating as always.

You’d think a country club would go out of their way to please a customer and make them want to come back and they do the polar opposite. I have played here multiple times and it is the ONLY golf course I’ve been to where they go out of their way to try and inconvenience you. It blows my mind. Shame on me for coming back. There are many other courses that go above and beyond to make your time enjoyable where I will now spend my money from now on. Customer service is not a priority here. I wish I could give Oak Lane 0 stars. *During my conversation with Gina regarding rescheduling a rain check, she had the nerve to say my grandfather, who passed away and used to work at the golf course, would be “rolling in his grave” because of my questioning of the rain check policy. A second employee, Nick Rycoski, saw no issue with her saying that. I couldn’t imagine saying that to another person who has lost a loved one, let alone a customer who was simply trying hard to coordinate a time to re-visit the golf course with 3 friends. Edit: Thanks for the feedback Gina. You always seem to find a way to make yourself look like the good guy with your lame excuses to your well earned 1 star reviews left by many unsatisfied customers. To those of you who are considering spending your money at Oak Lane, don’t. The reviews speak for itself. Filter through the lowest ratings and see if you can spot the common theme. Everybody has the same issue and it’s Gina. Life is too short to treat people the way you do, Gina. It’s saddening that you haven’t changed your ways after the countless number of 1 star reviews you’ve earned that detail your numerous adversarial interactions with customers. As long as you are affiliated with Oak Lane, I will happily never spend a dime at that golf course ever again. I can’t wait to take my business elsewhere because like you said, my grandfather would be “rolling in his grave” if he knew I’d continue to patronize a place where customers dont get treated with respect.

We called and made a tee time at traditions at oak lane a week in advance for 7am on a Saturday. Get to the course and the management team told us they didn’t have us on the sheet. We provided them with confirmation email and still were not willing to accommodate us on the tee sheet. We have played this course regularly and the management team acknowledged this upon our arrival. Instead of trying to keep a paying customer happy and making room on the tee sheet they told us to get lost. I work at another golf course and we would have made it work in an effort to keep the business and customers happy within reason. We called orange hills country club down the road and made room for us on the tee sheet and had a great day of golf and were thankful they could accommodate us given the situation. Traditions at oak lane experience was awful, classless and will not be going back to a course I frequented in the past because of this experience.
