This place has a wonderful atmosphere! Great for family's, business lunches, weddings, and just about any type of get together for a hearty meal. The menus is catered to meet most visitors taste buds. I do recommend highly the Chicken pot pie. You actually get a lot of tasty chicken in the pie. It's like your grand mom made it. It's great ! Mudslide cake is my choice for desert. Oh Boy! What a choice. Never tasted anything better! Try it! You'll like it!

Great River Golf Club, 4-1/2 stars, is home to a championship golf course that ranks with some of the best in Connecticut. This tree-lined and open parkland layout provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. A must play if you are in the area.

beautiful resort like setting and great patio overlooking golf course, good food and very reasonably priced. hope they have more special events similar to what the former owners had offered. Their Pig roast and Pizza on the grill night were great times

Great course, tough, but not ridiculously. Played in the rain and the course still held up great, speed was good on the greens, played true to how they're lined up. Clubhouse is one of the nicest around. Beverage Cart staff was very nice, Jackie was awesome!
