Small golf course ok price good course for your kids or someone who is new to the sport. The fairways are a bit of a mess but the greens are maintained and are fine. When I come here it is usually for the driving range, not the course.

I'm 16 and this course is a decent par 3 course. It's a good course especially for younger ones who want to learn to golf or just for a small family that wants to go golfing together. Some times are busier then others but it's not that bad. Walked it once and it took a few hours but was worth it. Recommend using a cart it's better.

Went to birch plain to teach my 6 year old to golf. While we were getting our clubs out of the car 2 large dogs not on leashes were in the middle of the parking lot. My daughter said daddy there's 2 big dogs n there coming at us. So I had her quickly get in the club house. And the dogs chased us into the clib house as one snuck by me and went to my daughter which is face level with the dog. I yelled at the dog to get get. And the great staff member yelled at me saying are they bothering you. (Actually yes meathead they were bothering us) I replied "really " and this great staff member said yes really. I said were outta here to my daughter. Great way to run a business as we left. And fyi we were the only soul there. And that's why. I live in the city n golf a lot. I will never go here again and I will b spreading the word to my friends in and around groton about the way we were treated. And thanks for ruining the 1st golf outing for my daughter by dogs of all things at a golf course. Very very unprofessional staff!
