It is 08.14.16 and it is already 7:45AM. This course is still closed! I like this decent course but your staff *TOTALLY* failed today... we left and played somewhere else. We waited for over 30 minutes you know...

The Rolling Greens Golf Club is a 9 hole golf course in Rocky Hill, CT. I was initially slightly disappointed to know that they dont have a drving range. They do have a nice chip-and-putt area near the office which is open until sunset. On the 9 holes - The first couple of holes were very tough, but the rest of the holes got me back in the game. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend this golf course. They also have a good-looking bar-and-restaurant on-site but I have not yet tried it to comment on its quality.

Great course!! Its one of the most challenging 9 hole courses in New England. They're under new management and they're really making a lot of necessary changes to the building and course. Plus, its only $25 for nine holes and a cart. You can't beat it!

It had been a year since I had played the course and the fairways were still cut to a height most courses consider rough. I wasn't told that I was going off immediately after a ladies league. The group in front of me graciously offered to let me play through but told me there were other foursomes ahead of them. I figured I'd leapfrog several holes and just get in a few practice holes. After I'd walked half the length of the course, an employee drove his cart out and told me I couldn't jump ahead. I asked why I wasn't told about the league and the guy said it wasn't his responsibility to tell me. I said I'd walk back in a get a refund and he said I could only get a raincheck! I retraced my steps to find him sitting in his cart back at the pro shop. I gave him the red tag and he asked if I wanted a raincheck. Why he thought I'd ever come back to this course was a mystery. I just said "no" and drove to Goodwin where I played a pleasant fast nine for exactly half the price. Customer service is a concept they're unfamiliar with at this course.

This is a great beginner course. since i'm a beginner, i don't read into the quality of the grass too much. it's not an easy course and it's got everything i'm looking for.
