Just played this weekend for a fantastic rate of $39 teeing off at 11am. Normally this place is a 5 hour round but we never slowed up for once and were done in 3.5 hours. the course itself was in some serious rough shape with a LOT of bunker work being done but it was also April. Biggest gripe about the round however was the hot dog, chip and domestic beer "Lunch Special". $12 for that special and nothing was special about it AT ALL. Was worth $8 at most. Bring your own sandwiches if you plan to play here.

A great course design. It is up to the player to play his best game, and this course challenges every aspect. So it makes it easier to ignore the management. Probably one of the best public course layouts in the area. Long from the tips. It can be a little slow...to a lot slow..but that's people...not the course. Probably one of the prettier courses around. It is in the Forest Preserve system.

Played on a beautiful sunny Monday. Unfortunately this round took 5 hrs!! Played behind 2 foursomes of Japanese men. A foursome of Japanese men have never let me play through...ever. They each take 3 practice swings before each shot on their way to a snap hook and a 98. Please install signs in Japanese to allow faster players through. This is the only drawback to playing this course...a round shouldn't take 5 hrs on a Monday!! And I don't recall seeing a Ranger at all during the round...maybe the course should step up on those too on Mondays. The course layout is very enjoyable and greens were very fast today. I just wish the people in front of me were half as fast as the greens!!

Great place to golf for high handicap golfers because of the Generous fairways. Prices are very reasonable. Make an online reservation. Prices vary depending on your tee time.

Wide open fairways. Very forgiving to newer players. Course can play slow sometimes because of that.
