To all the members that pay over $50,000 a year to play on this course. Those duvet covers on your bed get washed once a year. And all those rooms in the cottage and plantation house have so many bugs we had to make sure to shake the curtains everytime we cleaned.Tons of Spiders, Rodents, roaches. You name it. They could come up from the drain and we would have to wash them out of the showers and tubs DAILY. I worked here for a summer right when I graduated high school. Back in 2013. Worst job ever! All the workers here get treated like garbage! If you are vacuuming like you were told to do and Mr. Rich enters the building be prepared to get yelled at! Even though I was cleaning the room for a member that would be arriving shortly. If you didnt wipe all the fingerprints off the golden door handle in time before he arrived you get yelled at! I had to vacuum all the little crumbs under his breakfast table every morning. (He's a very messy eater!) I would always be hoping I would be able to finish my tasks so I didn't have to see him. All the workers tip toe around him. He's terrifying & he WILL make you cry. Mr. Rich stood behind me as I cleaned all the little windows in the plantation house. Making sure I got every little corner. I had to squeeze behind bushes I was allergic to so I could clean windows and then be yelled at because the members could see me. We also had to hide around corners and in closets to avoid being seen by any member. In the plantation house there are secret stairs for the housekeepers to stay discreet. I understand that we SHOULD be discreet. But don't treat me like I'm the scum of the earth! The Owner is a billionaire and steals all the tips from the Caddys and housekeepers. We were told that if any member came up to one of us specifically and gave us a tip we would have to give it to our supervisor. And if it was found out that you kept a tip. You're fired. They pay you practically nothing for all the mistreatment and hard work. This is a terrible place. Shameful place to work.

Wow. Best course in Illinois. No course in the area better incorporates the natural geography and ecology. Clubhouse and practice area exceptional. Supreme conditions. Easy to see why it is chosen as host to so many prestigious tournaments.
