Good Course, Worth the drive.. Weekday rates of $44 is a good deal with a cart, $34 for seniors is really good. Greens were challenging, not a lot of flat or straight putts out there, decent green speeds and consistent. Very nice views with large, old trees. Some nice houses on the property. Two or three of the holes had a Northern Michigan feel with the elevation changes and tall trees that allowed you to see the houses. Maintenance staff was out filling divots and working, showing they care. Conditions were very nice and considering our lack of rain in the last 2-3 weeks it was good to see. Its about a 50 minute drive for me but I would go back. Club house employees and starters were very nice. Bunkers were well maintained and there were some tough par 4's. My only complaint, since it was our first time playing is that they should take down a cluster of 5 trees on the left hand side of #12 about 120 yards off the tee as it really hides the angle and fairway. It would not hurt the hole by doing this and creates a better looking tee shot. There is a bail out area to the right but these trees really force you to go way right. Very nice.. Go play.

The course is in great condition. There were some challenging Sunday tournament pin positions today. The greens are rolling fast and true.
