Franconia golf course was a nice place for 18 holes of golf and a quick hot dog and beer. The course was in good shape (not great shape).

Ok, good shape but pricey for 9 holes!

Course is in great shape and the pros Ryan Hall I played with at cathedral is a very knowledgeable golf professional and Dan Lapiere is friendly and enjoys giving lessons, he even will go an extra until your swing.is right. Ryan Hall is a good leader and their will be no stealing and scams on his watch unlike Kennedy who was fired and has an investigation with the FBI now. Point being, your in good hands now with 2 great pros,Ryan is a protege of David Dirico from Crestview CC

Just played in the Bon Tempo and the course has never looked so perfect, luckily I was able to play this past weekend here...WOW such Great Conditions, Fast Greens, Great Food in the 19th hole, Super accommodating and friendly staff. Franconia is such a FUN golf course due to many reasons by one being the course layout, Sitting in three towns(East Long-meadow, Springfield, Long-meadow). You've always got a shot into the hole, even if your tee shot isn't the best. This is what makes this course different from others, to see any range of ages playing the game and getting involved. Being the home track for many High Schools to Colleges in the 413 area. Hosting conference quarter, semi, and finals for the NCAA colleges, that says a lot. But what I enjoy most of Franconia is that it's a public course that is owned by the city and is a sister courses with Veterans G.C. in Springfield, but if one course is being occupied due to a big day long outing or event/leagues, they're able to get you right on out at the sister course, or whatever the situation might be, they never turn you away! With as much play as both the courses gets and traffic from what not, the courses holds up extremely well. Gotta say hats off the maintenance crew and their dedication being their at 5 am till after 2 pm getting everything to tip top shape for us golfers!!! Thank You! Ryan Hall has really turned things around here at Franconia G.C. Taking on a job like that with such baggage carrying on over from the previous "PGA Head Professional". Ryan fit right into the crowd of Franconia G.C. and I haven't heard one bad thing about him since he took the job. He's helped get me fitted and gives tips on little tricks of the game to help lower scores! Thank You Ryan and Thank you to your very accommodating staff! The Course was in absolute fantastic condition these past couple weeks. The Bon Tempo was in phenomenal shape and really showed its teeth
