I called on Saturday to make a tee time for a foursome to play the back 9 Sunday morning. When we arrived we were told by Gary ( same person I spoke with Saturday) there would be a 20 minute frost delay. When we returned to clubhouse 40 minutes later upon seeing people teeing off we were rudely told NO ONE will be allowed to play the back 9. We understand situations arise but This situation was handled unprofessionally as our time was wasted for no apparent reason. I hope this is aberration for the new management and not a sign of how they plan to conduct business. Long time patrons of Crystal,

I've been going to this course for many years, as it is probably the best value in the area. Leaps and bounds have been made in the layout compared to what it was years ago. Crystal Lake has a lot of potential to be great. However, the conditions are extremely inconsistent, which can have a major impact on your experience. Also, their hasn't been a proper clubhouse for a few years and the unfinished houses on the front nine are an eye sore. The owner has had significant fiscal issues and problems with development.

Green were fast and in great shape. Fairways were also green and freshly cut. Enjoyable round of golf.

Course is in great shape. Been playing here since '84. I've never seen it better. Greenskeeper is a miracle worker.
