We took our new camper there to "shake it down" and figure out how everything worked. The side of the park we were on was primarily seasonal folks, but we got a spot with a great view, and the staff were incredibly helpful (let us borrow an extension cord and answered a few questions about the operation of our camper) and very friendly. Our neighbors were great, everybody was very friendly, waving, etc. What we saw of the golf course looked great (we don't golf, but still), and the beach was very spacious. Oh, and the food from the little restaurant wasn't half bad either!

I've Been going here for about 8 years and it's fantastic. If your an indoors person then I wouldn't recommend this place. But, if your looking for nature, this is the place. The sites and the RVs are not amazing but they are ok. the rest is beautiful. They have 2 great ponds where you can fish and one where you can swim. One of them is practically a beach! I haven't used the golf course very much but it's pretty good for what I've seen. The people are nice but some of the staff are very strict. I love it here and definitely recommend it. It's great for kids

My home town course, very secluded and really really fun and challenging course, extremely affordable for the amount of fun you'll have.

BEWARE of this Campground if you're planning on being a seasonal resident. My husband and I just sold our camper that we bought there two years ago. Cathy, the owner is VERY unpleasant to deal with. We paid our fees up to date and when the new owner of the camper went to pay his he was told that he owed $500.00 because we didn't pay!! On the day we paid CASH, the new owner was standing right there and saw us pay. He was told he could not leave with the camper until the fee's were paid. Cathy was nasty with my husband on the phone when he called and said we DID pay and that we have a receipt to prove it. Of course, she never bothered to call us back and let us know we were all set. The new owner of our camper is THANKFUL he pulled it out of that campground and stated she was a real B*T%$ to him. Just a heads up to those considering this place....don't bother and if you do make sure you get a receipt for EVERYTHING because they will try and rip you off!
