Not a good first time experience at this course at all. No ranger in sight on a weekend to move pace along (took 3.5 hrs to play 9 holes). When asked, pro shop manager said it was my fault for golfing that day - abysmal customer service. I get things can slow down on a weekend afternoon, but the pace was unacceptable, in my opinion, and the round was not enjoyable. Course was not in good shape either - fairways were just as long as rough and bunkers were filled with bees/hornets. There are plenty of courses nearby that are far better quality for close to the same price. Will not be returning.

I just love the guys in the clubhouse at Huron Meadows. They're happy and accommodating, and go to great lengths to help you out. This is my favorite park in the area, whether it's for their great golf course or just taking my dogs for a walk. We're there at least a couple of times a week.

The General Manager Ron is a terrible customer service manager. He was telling me it was my fault that I had decided to golf that day and that the Assistant following us because he didnt trust us. The employee at the table was making it so difficult to just buy the darn tickets to golf! My new shoes we ruined and the mud stains on my pants took three days to wash out. When I told the General Manager Ron about this, he said that there were signs in the front saying to keep the carts off the grass. Then how about when we golf?! Impossible! He apparently could not give us our money back but could issue rainchecks. Even though I didn't want to ever go back, I figured I could just give it to someone even though it was hardly worth the gas to go back to get the darn rainchecks anyway. My vote: Heck no, dont go. There are more lovelier places than this, just skip over this place.
