Nice course that is always in great shape. Bring extra balls because there are plenty of opportunities to lose them. You always have to play smart course management. We always buy the Groupgolfer coupons when we play here. The actual rates are a little high considering the number of nice courses there are in Michigan that offer discounts. The practice facility is top notch. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is due to pace of play. Even though tee times are spaced 10 minutes apart, pace of play is always slow on the weekends. I would imagine it's because of course difficulty for novice golfers. It would be helpful if everyone played from the appropriate tee box based on their skill level. It would help speed up play.

$42 for walking 9 holes Sunday am, the back-9: a fun challenging course, some mild rolling hills, fast greens, 5 colored tee shots, great layout with lots of Michigan natural hazards along and sometimes crossing each fairway. thick vegetation at the mowed-border along every inch of the course- lots of lost (and found) balls. No crabby staff- a trainee at the pro shop, the greens mower (mowing at 8 am) helped me find my ball, the Ranger asked me to let the pace-setters play through at the next hole, as pleasant as can be. Each hole is separate from the next- no bordering fairways, paved cart paths along the entire course, normally the entire path width through each wood, so walkers have to walk on the asphalt, and some wooden bridges. 5 stars for golf carts, 4 stars for walkers.
