The Easter Brunch was totally disappointing! I can’t say anything positive about the food, the service or the atmosphere. Here you are sitting looking over the beautuful golf course with the water in the back ground on Easter Sunday with ketchup and mustard bottles on your table. At the very least remove them for this event and put a small vase of fresh cut flowers. It is Easter! We were never approached at our table and asked if we wanted coffee, or explained how the buffet worked. It was our first time there. The quality of the food was moderate, however the omelets were good. There was no one monitoring the buffet! Most of the time there were no plates and the food was gone. I had to ask for both plates and food. To top it off, an Easter Brunch with no deserts!!! They however were able to find some lemon meringue pie. I would not recommend this or would I go again.

I was there again. For the Easter Brunch. And it's still very very very mediocre at best. Our gentleman server was the only good, but the rest was totally disappointing, again. We were invited to join family. Never would have gone again except for family. The omelet station was the only good station, over whelmed most of the time, need more burners, the smoked salmon station was pitiful, none of the expected condiments, capers, cream cheese, sliced tomatoes, bagels, nothing, just a large plate of smoked salmon on s table. The buffet tables was constantly running out of food. It seemed to have an empty dish constantly. There didn't seem to be anyone monitoring the buffet. That should have been someones sole job. I have to find a new place for Easter for next year.

Portsmouth Country Club, rated 4-1/2 stars, is home to a championship golf course that ranks with some of the best in New Hampshire. This tree-lined and open parkland layout provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. A must play if you are in the area.

Was there for a special event. We're seared in the dining room due to renovations. Very nice setting, staff was great, as was the buffet they served.

We have used the Portsmouth Country Club for our Romeo's (Retired Old Men Eating Out) functions for the last couple of years. Service, food quality, and room accommodation's are superior.
