My parents met at Sunny Hill in the 1960s. My dad worked there, and my mom's family vacationed there every summer. As a kid in the 70s and 80s, I enjoyed Sunny Hill so much. It was my favorite place on Earth. Even in my late 20s, I still enjoyed vacationing with my parents and driving to Cooperstown. The Nicholsen family are like family to us and some of the best people you'll ever meet. Salt of the Earth. Now I am 39, and my children are ages 7, 5, 4, and 3. I just booked our first family vacation to Sunny Hill with tears in my eyes. It is truly a magical place, and I AM SO EXCITED to continue the tradition with my husband and kids, along with my parents, now in their 60s. This place has something for everyone, and the memories made there last a lifetime!

My mother-in-law spent summers at Sunny Hill as a child. She grew to eventually take her own children. Now, our entire family meets up at Sunny Hill every summer, including her 4 grandchildren, ages 2-12. Sunny Hill is a magical place. The kids (and the adults) look forward to it all year! What a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time together, in a safe and beautiful location, with a warm community of people. With fishing, paddle boats, golf, splash pad, shuffleboard, nightly activities, about a million playgrounds (and so much more) there is never a lack for something fun to do. When you do feel like taking it easy, you really couldn’t find a more scenic and peaceful place to recharge. We have deep gratitude for Gail, Gary, Wayne and the staff for making us feel so welcome every year and providing these amazing memories for our family. Thank you!!

Love, love, love Sunny Hill! A great family vacation spot in a gorgeous area with beautiful mountain views. The family that owns it couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. There are endless activities to keep you busy, or just relax on the lawn or by the pool. Nightly entertainment includes music, dancing, bingo. Day trips available. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Three meals/day served in the large dining hall and food is available in the snack bar, as well. Great for big family groups (like mine!). We've been going for 20+ years and look forward to our annual trip all year long!
