I have nothing but amazing things to say about Deerfield country club and the staff. I worked directly with Courtney and she was very professional and accommodating. My twins communion was gorgeous and the food was fantastic. The service was prompt and very flexible with dietary restrictions. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking to have a fabulous event!!!

Let me start with the positives then explain why I rate this place as I do. The carts are really cool with the GPS and really make it easy to pinpoint longer distances which not many places have. The course is maintained relatively well and provides some challenge as there are some water hazards and bunkers thrown into the mix. Also the grill area is really good and quick to serve you. If you get married this is a good spot as well kinda out of the sight of the city in a quieter setting and there are some hazards around the course to keep you entertained if it wasnt for the next paragraph Id rate it a little higher Now lets start with negatives. This course is a little overpriced for what it is. There is nothing special about this place to charge 40+ for 18 like what I paid last time on the weekend. There are much better deals and coupons out there you just have to find them. Also my major issue here is theres nothing worse than a ranger who has no clue whats going on around him and gets on the wrong group about pace of play or any golf etiquette when he obviously doesnt have much of any himself or doesnt quite get how it works. Its literally like having a horrible boss/owner. A Ranger should be aware of people hitting balls groups around him and checking for big gaps between the groups and all that and this person again shouldnt have been assigned this task and shouldnt be moving a cart near or around people trying to focus on hitting a shot as he was harrassing everybody and moving around while golfers were getting ready to swing. Its very difficult to keep their standards of pace of play on a busy day and especially when youre behind a slower group of walkers or drinkers and even more difficult to play at my faster pace when 3 4 groups in front of us is the slow group.... go harrass them make them wait for faster groups to go by them as it wont take long for those groups to be able to go forward Id like to say nicer things about this place as it is a nice facility and decent layout but again when I golf I have 2 rules from the course. Take decent care of the place and dont needlessly harrass or babysit people cause odds are I wont be back here for awhile since that was the case last time I went. Ive golfed places that cost only 5 10 bucks more than here and get a massive upgrade in terms of conditions layouts and personnel. I like Rangers normally as they help keep the slower golfers on the toes since again Im a faster golfer and usually have 0 issue with them. Although I respected this idiot on the course and didnt tell him how I felt about his judgement at the time like I wanted to it doesnt mean Im gonna keep quiet about it as a reviewer later on. It doesnt matter to me what position or title you carry everybody is equally responsible for representing the course or business in a good manner. Its a basic principle of customer service... be friendly, dont be a snob, make sure youre providing maximum amounts of fun and enjoyment, be attentive & intelligent and listen to concerns or comments while on the job. There are much more relaxed cost effective and friendlier courses in the area to go to but if theyre fully booked this can be an out to be able to hit 18. If I go here again in the future I will write another review to see if theyve redeemed themselves by that point in time but again it will be awhile until that happens.

Love the layout. The newer owners have really made a lot of improvements and it shows every year. It's really shaping up to be a top class course with good length and proper challenge. I've played here every summer for the last 11 years and and it always improves. The carts are very nice as well with very accurate gps.
