We just got home from a family outing at Braemar Country Club playing 9 holes at Pebble Beach on their golf simulator and I have to say, it couldn't have been a better experience. They were busy with both a party in their banquet room and a function in their restaurant and they still attended to us like we were the only ones there in their golf simulator room, with great food and drinks. My son's commented how much fun they were having not having to chase there golf balls all over the golf course, Lol. Thank you for a great Sunday. We will definitely be back this winter and summer too! Well done.

Ive been going to Braemar for many many years and will say theyve done a nice job and doing much needed work with drainage and other odds and ends on the course. Greens fees are always reasonable and you dont have to worry about feeling like youre around elitist people either. Course layout is actually quite fun for a course designed 90 years ago and can be very tricky in spots. Dining area is updated and sufficient for any occasion and food is good from the grill during the summer. Also liking what theyre doing to the 18th tee but that looks like it still needs some rock hounding done and topsoil applied to get grass and whatever landscaping they plan on doing to stick there. My real only knocks are that the course itself could use a couple additional sand traps and maybe another water hazard or 2 to help with more drainage issues and where all the dying ash trees from the emerald ash borer are in areas of the course ( this is a nationwide problem not just here at this point) but otherwise is in good shape. These probably shouldve begun to have been cut and replaced for awhile now like what many of the other local courses have done but this year are really showing signs of dying and needing replacement. I normally go here at least 10-15 times a summer now as its a good course to test your skill set on without paying 50 bucks a round the few negatives there are are definetly way outweighed by the positives

I had a great experience last nigbt hosting a party in the banquet room. Walter, Julie, and the staff were just fabulous. The food was perfect, exceeded expectations. I would definitely recommend Braemar as a party venue. There is a patio right outside. Walter and Steve did (and are still doing) a great job renovating both the building and the golf course, put Braemar back on the map! I wish I had photos to share. The banquet room is a absolutely lovely with skylights and neutral color. It's comfortable and perfectly appointed for Braemar.

It's not Mill Creek or Ravenwood, but it's pretty decent for the price. Great value. I take my 10 yr old son here to play and he loves it. It's not full of stuffy golf douches who act like everyone's an inconvenience to them. Great atmosphere, the clubhouse is really nice and for 18 and a cart, you can't beat the price.
