Until a week ago, I didn't even know this State Park existed. We visited it to try out the numerous hiking trails that go through and around the park. Depending on where you park, you'll find quite a few trails. Overall they are in good condition, but could use more blazing and a little cleanup. There are one or two spots that are confusing concerning which way the trail goes even with a map. This park offers some spectacular views once you reach the top. Also situated at the top is a lodge where you can get beverages and some food. The lodge offers great views, is clean and well maintained. While the golf course is only nine holes, it looks great and may have a few challenging spots. (Note, I haven't played golf in many years.) We'll be returning to visit this park in the fall.
