Former brief employee at this special personal homey golf course. I loved working with this personal siblings and their mother. I worked there for few months around year of 2005.

Not bad for the price. There are opportunities for improvement.

I joined Perinton G&CC as a member this past summer (June 2012) - the deal was too good to pass up, and I re-uped again for next year. I can't understand where the negative reviews are coming from. I have met a number of great people there who also took advantage of the great membership deal. I found the family that runs the course to be very friendly, courteous and very helpful to the members - I like them. I really like this course - there are a number of challenging holes, as well as a few 'easier' holes (although I still manage to mess up on them too...). Contrary to one of the reviews, each hole DOES have yardage markers in the fairways - maybe the reviewer would have preferred visible stakes rather than the markers on the ground. It is true that the first time you play the course you will need to look at the scorecard to find the next hole, but after you play the course once, you get it. The layout of the course is different than most other courses, but that is not at all a detriment to the course - it only adds to the challenge. I highly recommend this course - be sure to ask about the membership deal.

This will be my 3rd season at the club. When I first heard about the price and played the course, I concluded that it was a no-brainer. I joined right away. I haven't been disappointed, I have been recommending the club ever since. The owners are friendly and very helpful. Like other clubs, they have rules and if you follow the rules, you will enjoy the golfing there. The course is challenging to me but that is to be expected since I am a duffer although I have been playing for a while. I took lessons from Pat Rocco and the lessons helped me more than any lessons I took in the past. In short, give the course a try and see for yourself.
