My wife and I were deeply offended by our treatment by the owner of this establishment. We began our association with Buckets when my wife expressed an interest in golf and wanted to learn the game. On our first visit we bought a large bucket of balls and shared it between the two of us. After our second visit, doing the same thing, the owner suggested that we might wish to buy a membership which allowed for two buckets of balls a week. He said that my wife and I could share the membership. Our first week went by without incident. We went twice, shared a bucket between us each time, and we were happy with the arrangement. The next week we only went once because of rain, and there were no large buckets available for us to share, so the owner suggested that we take two medium size buckets instead. Again, no problem that we could see, until our next visit when we shared a bucket of balls. After we had finished, the owner spoke to me saying, "I don't like where this is going." I asked him what he meant and he said, "I am not comfortable with the way you and your wife are using my special." Again, I asked him to explain, and he said the single membership is meant for one person each time. I could use a bucket and then next time my wife could use a bucket. He said it was not intended for couples to share a bucket each time. He even went as far as to imply that I was cheating him by doing so. I'm not sure what kind of math he is using, but in my opinion two buckets a week means two buckets a week. Why should it matter how those buckets are used? If I chose to give my bucket for the week to some aspiring young golfer, why could I not do so. Further, If my wife and I share a bucket between us and only use one bucket each time, are we really cheating the owner out of anything. We are simply doing what should be allowed by this "special". By our reconning, totaling only the buckets we used in the brief time we were "Members", the owner actually made out better than we did since our membership fee covered the cost of those buckets with a $3.00 overage in the owners favors. Though he told us our membership is good through the end of the season as long as we abide by the stipulations he has placed on bucket usage, we have decided it would be better to take our business elsewhere. He can keep the $3.00. Apparently he needs it more than we do.

Owner sold us a 'two bucket special' then accused us of trying to take advantage of the 'special'. (I'm not sure what kind of math he was using.) Anyway, the whole situation could have been handled differently if the he was the least bit professional and courteous. After our discussion, he thought he was being 'generous' by keeping us on the books for his 'special.' Ironically enough, due to his behavior, we will never go back meaning he cheated US out of money. Poor business practice. Will find a better place, because as the owner mentioned, there are so many other places to golf!

Great driving range! Very affordable and they even give you a free drink with bucket 'o balls purchase. The owner is SUPER knowledgeable about golf and gives terrific lessons/pointers if you ask him. Also sells different clubs and training irons that he'll let you try out. Awesome range, even better people!!

Good place to hit balls and shoot the breeze. Jack, the owner is a great coach. If you need a lesson he will start you off on the fundamentals. I highly recommend him.
