Well, shame such a well laid out, great location course is in this condition. Runs right along the lake for a long way really a local. The economy of the county and I m sure the taxes have dragged this place down. Play it before it's gone. An elderly couple is trying to run it by them selves and it's for sale. Cool lay out makes you play lots of clubs in your bag, no boring up and back at this place. The greens got hammered with a mold or blight and are poor. Take your friends down take your time, have a smoke on one of the cliffs over looking the lake and enjoy.

Before you go - they no longer have credit card, so bring CASH. About what you'd expect for a 9-hole family owned golf course. A pretty fun course with challenging water hazards. Not a run of the mill cookie cutter links course. Conditions have deteriorated over the last several years though. Sand traps are overgrown and no longer have sand and greens are very tall with large brown patches that make putting difficult. Fairways are indistinguishable from the rough and tee boxes are bumpy and patchy. The owners are a very nice couple and will make sure you have everything you need. Overall a fun place to golf, but not really a place for a serious golfer.

It was like someone turned their backyard into a golf course, and the greens were like golfing on the moon's surface (cratered), but I made friends with this adorable little fox.

Too expensive for comparable courses in the area.
