With a view of Lake Erie and gorgeous grounds, this was one of the nicer wedding venues on appearance alone. The staff is very professional. The facilities are very well kept and clean. The food meets the standards for the rest of the place as well. Excellent location for an outdoor wedding.

I went in to Wanakah Country Club yesterday for an interview I got there at 6:10 and the interview was scheduled for 6:15, when I walked in I was brought into an office by I'm guessing the manager or assistant manager, she pulled out my resume and then said "I have to go make sure everything is okay I will be right back" so I said it was fine, 15-20 minutes went by and she still never came back so I just figured okay she must be busy, but I heard her chatting in the kitchen having small talk with her co workers, then after a HALF HOUR she still didn't come back to interview me and I left and not one person even said anything. I left at exactly 6:40. Very rude and unprofessional to call someone in for an interview and just forget about them in the office. I would NEVER go back there or take that place seriously.

Snowshoed around the golf course today. You can see Lake Erie from the upper part of the course and also got to watch most of the sunset.

The banquet room that I was in is divided by pillars I did not like that too much because you have to talk to a wall if you want to talk to the table behind it
