Golf course is very well kept and a challenge every time you play it. Is very good in the summer months. Also, the food is only decent and pricy.

DO NOT HOLD YOUR WEDDING RECEPTION HERE!!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE, FOOD, MANAGEMENT, RUN DOWN, OUTDATED, Private Events ARE NOT AT ALL PRIVATE. Please book your reception with a more reputable venue. The club only values their own members so please heed our warning and do not trust Silver Lake with one of the most important days of your lives. The very few things that were supposed to be executed on our day were a complete failure. There are far more better venues in the area--even country clubs (Glenmoor or Firestone) that will take really good care of you even if you aren't a member of the club and that will treat you with respect and value your business. Silver Lake is truly the bottom of the barrel for events in the area.

Went here for a reception, and staff is very kind and attentive to our needs.

Excellent private course. Staff were extremely friendly. Only 4 stars for the following: #1. Rough is bad in many areas..no water, no grass, lots of dirt areas. #2. Some of the of tees have been sanded and messy. The rest of the course is in excellent condition. Greens roll great, but are hard as a rock... Don't expect your shots to bite... Under hit all shots by 10 yds to anticipate the roll out. I'd play here again.

We belonged to SLCC for MANY (some 60) years and have so many wonderful memories. But I was just amazed and so impressed with the wonderful new patio-bar addition! Huge! And gorgeous! It really makes the Club shine! Kudos! Another wonderful memory made there last night. Thank you SLCC!
