It's a good place to golf but do NOT give them your real email address in exchange for a discounted price. I have unsubscribed from their "special offers" at least 20 times in the last 3 years.

My brother and I had a negative (mostly) experience Sunday at this course. The only positive of the day was the cashier/attendant inside the clubhouse. She was friendly and courteous. After that, everything went downhill. First, Brandywine books tee times every seven minutes. This is a problem, as it puts too many people on the course at once and promotes slow play. Ultimately, delays happen. We had a 9:07 tee time, but didn't start until 9:30. That said, this issue could have been prevented, had it not been for the groundless and incomprehensible actions of the starter. This individual refused to let people tee off the back nine. Had he simply let my group (a twosome) - or even a group in front or behind us - go off the back, the course would have opened up. His reasoning for not allowing this was foolish and plain wrong . First, he claimed another group would be making the turn "soon." This wasn't the case, as those people didn't finish for another 15 minutes after his comment. Further, it turns out the people he referenced were only playing nine. When I pointed out both of these facts to the starter, he said, "Sorry, that's policy. It's Sunday golf." So, rather than open up the course, the starter wanted to engage in a power play. Instead, it took nearly three hours to play nine holes. Beyond that, Brandywine is in poor shape. While the views are picturesque, the fairway is patchy and the areas around the green are browned out. All in all, I would not recommend this course to anyone.

Funky little course, but very cool. Went with a few guys who are not very good (myself included), but had a great time on the course. Staff seems chill, grass was in good condition, price was right for four guys and two carts.

On time for a 1:30 tee time . 2:15 still waiting to start. Stater. Then rudely informed us we had to join a pair, who could not hit past woman tee. Said we had no choice. Got refund and left. Guess we had a choice. Course looked terrible. More weeds than grass. No fairways all cut the same. Looked like a pasture. Staff acted like it was Firestone C.C. what joke.
