I’ve been here three times all late this season (2017). Each time the counter personnel have been extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. There is a lovely new club house built in 2013 that beckons for you to spend time in it or on its patio before or after your round. The course (while only 9 holes) is a fun test of golf. I have found it to be in very good shape on each visit. The layout is primarily rolling undulating fairways with enough trees and hazard areas to keep you honest. The immaculate, fast, sloping greens are often guarded by numerous deep and challenging bunkers that punish any missed green shot. As both a competitor and high school coach I see dozens of courses over the season. This one will give you a surprisingly good test and won’t disappoint. Bet you don’t shoot your average first time here!

My friend was in from out of town and we wanted to golf. So he another friend and I go to Twin Lakes (a course the three of us have been playing since it was a "Country Club", 20+ years). We show up with only two sets of clubs, my friend left his clubs out of town. We were turned away because it would be a pace of play issue. First we are all around a 10 handicap, second there were about 8 cars in the parking lot. I am upset with my visit to Twin Lakes, the Pro shop worker was very condescending and rude. So we happily left and went down the street to Raccoon Hill, where they were more than happy to have us. I will not be going back!

Staff friendly, welcoming, accommodating... Well kept, varied holes requiring thought, not just grip and rip... Definitely plays better if you've been through it, because it isn't difficult to find trouble....a great value...

I play here at least twice a week sometimes more. I dont get the people on here slamming Tony. I am sure that most clubs have a policy of every player having THEIR own set of clubs. I also wish other courses in the area would enforce pace of play as well as this course does. Im talking about you Ellsworth Meadows. Tony could not be any nicer to my daughter a junior golfer as compared to other courses in the area. Greens are always very consistent and course condition is overall very good. I think some of the reviewers have some unrealistic expectations of a public golf course, especially one that is run more like a private club. I understand that is not for everyone, but for me personally I prefer it.
