A great course, especially for the price, that seems to keep improving. I have gone there for years and the staff is always professional and easy to deal with. The layout is challenging enough to give some tests to any golfer and straightforward enough for any golfer to have a fair chance. They also have a nice practice facility with both mats and real grass, as well as heated and covered tees. Atmosphere is casual and laid back with friendly play but still a decent pace.

Public. Well maintained. Very friendly staff and good value... Go somewhere else so you don't crowd it up when I play!

I recently went to Grantwood for the first time and I must say I was very disappointed. Parts of the golf course were an absolute mess, brown dead clumped of grass everywhere, some of the fairways had very large mud patches with no grass. Someone in the pro shop who I was under the impression is a manager named Stephanie, "helped" me out and she was very rude to me. Her tone of voice was rude and she nearly rushed me out of the pro shop. I sincerely felt as though she did not want me there. That is not a way to treat customers. When I was done golfing, I went to the bar to get a hamburger. I must say that it was very tasty however, the whole bar area was an absolute mess, the bartenders name tag said Juanita (so I'm assuming that was her name) was also extremely rude and seemed very annoyed that I wanted a hamburger. Not only that, but I was very bothered by the fact that she did not wash her hands or wear gloves when she prepared my food. That is a health code violation. The only good thing I have to say about this place is that the cart boy and ranger were very kind and welcoming. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

In general, a well maintained and challenging course. My only complaints would be that it seemed every hole had a creek and there were only a couple par 3 holes. But those are just me being picky. Nice course and nice pro shop
