First time I have been here in 4 or 5 years and it was in horrific condition.. the fairways were in good shape but the greens were awful. Large dead patches everywhere and no effort to plug it out with new turf. I understand it's more of a learning center but come on at least keep the greens alive and puttable!

Pretty typical driving range. You can usually hit off the grass, if not they do have covered mats to hit off of and they do have mats that are not covered. The staff is always very nice and helpful. The 9 hole par 3 course has seen better days though. Don't expect to practice putting on there greens... they are just way to lumpy. But for $10.50 its great practice and a good way to get some light exercise in if you skip getting a golf cart. If the city keeps coming around I think the Metro Park's will hopefully sink a little money into the course like they do some of the other premier metro park courses.

Decent range, but the grass tees might as well be all sandtraps... No grass at all

Decent driving range. You can hit off the grass from late spring to October and off mats until the weather gets too bad. They also have a large putting green and short game practice area. A lot of par 3 courses are just tee boxes and greens, but this is essentially a full course, just shorter. Good practice for beginners and fairly well-maintained. Expect to lose a couple balls though. Almost every hole is surrounded by dense brush; even a gentle roll 6 inches off the course, and you'll never find your ball.

Absolutely awesome facility. Only complaint is the course is almost always wet, but overall staff are helpful, course is solid with fantastic greens, and the range and other practice facilities are great.
