Attended a conference at this resort and spent 2 nights. Nice rooms and suites that were very clean. Many areas to relax by a fire or get comfy on a couch. Great breakfast buffet (not free). The conference rooms are huge, have good acoustics, and pleasing decor. Highly recommend this resort for your next conference or just a weekend away!

The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. I like a firm bed and felt that this year the bed was in better shape than the past few years (attending an annual weekend convention.) The only issue is at the resort's restaurant, where it always seems to be understaffed for a busy weekend. We also discovered that we could order from the bar menu as well as the regular dinner menu, even though it was not offered to us. The bar menu also had a better variety of food that was less expensive. The restaurant definitely needs to change to automatically include this menu at every meal!

My family stayed at Sawmill Creek Resort on 4/29 & 4/30/2018. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about the staff, or the room. The room was a beautiful 2 bed with pullout sofa with a fireplace. The beds and blankets were really comfortable (the sofa bed, not so much, but that is usual for sofa beds). The room had been stocked with PLENTY of towels and toiletries. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and even had housekeeping bring me extra trash bags (I like to clean up after ourselves and take the trash out). This resort also has some Native American artifacts displayed and has named their buildings after tribes. We stayed in the Shawnee section. My husband and I also stopped in at the bar, and the bartender was friendly and made delicious drinks. She also was nice enough to make sure she had the beer my husband likes for the next day for him!! When my husband decided he missed home the front desk gentleman was very understanding and helped make the process quick (we left at 11:30pm on the 30th). This resort offers an indoor and outdoor pool, private beach, gold course, restaurant and a nature hike. My girls and I loved the nature hike, we had this Blackbird that would follow us. Now, sadly the downside (there isn't much). The pool wasn't open the first night (NOT the resorts fault) it was being repaired. The only other downside, is the private beach is a long walk, or you can drive down and then walk about 1/3 of a mile to the beach. In the end, we will definitely be coming back to this resort, and hopefully for the murder mystery!

I attended a weekend conference at Sawmill Creek mostly experiencing their convention center facilities for the presentations. The service in those facilities was excellent and our group was well cared for and it allowed us a great place to gather and fellowship as a group. I also enjoyed the time spent in the rooms where our people gathered (even though I didn't stay overnight there myself) Sawmill Creek was supportive of our groups unique needs for a place we could all hang out and wander to and from each other's rooms. Their flexibility and their service was stellar.

Sunday buffet was the best buffet ever!!! Made my own waffle with choices for toppings. They even have someone to cook you an omelette to order. HUGE selection of food! Fruit was fresh and food was unlimited! Highly recommended!!!
