Please note: This review is only for Boone Reservoir, which is owned by Lindenwood. After hearing about the possibility of some good fishing in Lindenwood's reservoir, my fiance and I headed up to the clubhouse to buy passes. Lindenwood charges $10 per person for a season pass to fish on their property. You are only allowed to fish the shoreline on the Waterdam side, meaning, you are not allowed to fish off of the only manicured section of the reservoir. The parking for the reservoir is on Waterdam, and it's a small gravel lot, like most reservoirs. But unlike [most] other reservoirs, the parking lot is littered with garbage. We grabbed our gear and headed in the direction we thought would head to the reservoir - the reason we weren't sure was due to the entire area around the reservoir being horribly overgrown, so we followed deer trails in. When we got to the water in a small clearing, we found more garbage...we fished the for a while, and then decided to try to move down the shore, so up into the woods we went. The entire hike to a few tiny openings on the shore - more garbage... on the shore? Garbage. The walk back to the truck?? Garbage. We fish all over western Pennsylvania; we have seen places that aren't taken care of very well, but they're on public property - not on private land that you have to pay extra to fish. Clearly, they have landscapers for their grounds, but they completely neglect their reservoir...and even though it's a complete rip off, it's not the money that upsets me - it's the environmental impact. There are some very special species of birds in the immediate area, including herons, osprey, and bald eagles - all of which hunt and live near water. Hopefully Lindenwood will consider all of the above, and correct the problem - but until they do, save your money and fish for free (with a license) at any number of places within a few minutes drive of their reservoir.

Joined a group of 40 guys here one weekend, played 27 the first two days and 18 the last. I liked the course, as did almost all of the other guys, they seemed very accommodating. We stayed at the Meadows and the drive was not bad. The were priced reasonably. They do have a full bar.
