Good layout, good condition for this time of year. SUPER STINGY with range balls—bring an extra $20 to buy enough balls to truly warm up. And pace of play is ATROCIOUS. It took me 5-1/2 hours to play 18 today. Marshals are absent. This is too nice and too expensive a course to have these problems.

I was excited to try the newly updated South course after a few rains because it was supposed to be great for that. Well.... not so much. The bunkers were amazing, but the rest of it is still terrible. This course just isn't cut out for anything but late spring / summer conditions. Also, pace was horrible. They really need to do something to fix that. It has been happening more and more.

The Reserve has different size rooms for venues of a variety of needs. One of the rooms has a big conference table and is decorated almost like the library of an estate. Up stairs can be adjusted to accommodate a large or even huge group. The catering is excellent and the portions are generous. It can be help yourself style buffet with servers for the entrées. Delicious.

The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club, rated 4-1/2 stars, is home to two top-quality championship golf courses. The highly-rated South course is an "American traditional" layout with mature stands of Oregon trees, natural terrain and numerous bunkers filled with sparkling white sand imported from Idaho.

Beautiful venue. I didn't end up booking here, but it was a close call. The space is awesome, and their food is great.
