I love this park, I visited to have lunch on our way to the redwoods in Northern California, but this place was a great place with hills and a lake just right there. This park has a lot a great charm and great pathways. One of my family’s favourite parts is the friendly birds that would beg and play and make us laugh. In total this place is one of the best places to stop by for anything from a walk to a picnic to a place to let a toddler to play and get some energy out.

My wife and I stopped over at Moore Park on our way back to the Running Y Resort. Our kids got to run and play in a safe, fun playground while we enjoyed the gorgeous lakeside views. The park is clean and offers convenient parking as well as bike trails.

Great space by the lake. I was there during the solar eclipse. I also go there with the dogs (in leashes) once in a while.

Excellently maintained. Playgrounds are fun for the kids. Tennis and basketball courts are in good condition. Facilities are in good working conditions as are the picnic tables and barbeque pits. Great views of the lake and surrounding forests. Wildlife, such a deer, are often present. Overall, an excellent park, usable for a variety of activities.

Acre for acre- best park in the state. From lake front running trails, to miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, to frisbee golf, to tennis- there is a place and activity for anyone. There are two boat launches to access upper Klamath Lake with clean rest rooms and loaner life vests. In the summer you can rent kayaks or have a sandwich at the little lake front cafe. We hike the trails weekly, and have geocashed all over the park. The frisbee golf course is fun, and challenging, but not very big. Summer evenings on Wednesdays can be a great place to relax and watch the sailboat races.
