I had a great time. Good drinks, friendly staff. Drinks were a normal price, so I'm not sure why people called it over priced. I liked the fact that there is a dress code. I would have given it 5 stars, but I thought the place could use some updating.

While a private membership is needed for either social dining or golf unless you have guest status, facilities are pretty good and the restaurant has had a massive makeover lately. I'd like to see a bit more world class bar beyond Johnny Walker, but the new varying menu looks and tastes great. You can swim outside. There is a golf shop, carts to rent and even a mini kitchen in the summers by the pool so you can drop off the kids. I don't like the move to bar dinner though, and prefer the quieter dining room feeling. To achieve 5 stars, the country club needs new paint across the board to really drive people to want that membership for more than being part of a certain crowd, since the bistro and Roland wines now matches the high quality for food.

This is the home of snob opulence, this is where those who sit nicely on the backs of the impoverished while they suffer in the lowlands. Who knows, any given day you may see your corrupt city official from Kelso or Longview having a nice drink or a multi hundred dollar meal at the expense of the downtrodden citizens. There is a reason this monument of sins is located on "Snob Hill."
