It was awesome to go their for a dinner. The history in the clubhouse alone was overwhelming to ME. If your into golf you have to go at least once. The food was very good. The service was excellent. The staff was very nice to us. The building was in excellent shape. Everything was very clean including the restroom. The golf course was in excellent condition. It was very nice to play a round their. I hope to be able to again.

Located just outside Pittsburgh, the private Oakmont Golf Club is home to a championship golf course that ranks with the world's best. Here you will find one of the United States' most admired and most feared inland links layouts.

It was absolutely lovely. There is so much history there that it was like being at a museum.

An old, private, restricted membership golf club. Home of several US Opens. Our other division did a publication for the US Open in 2016, and we interacted with the country club. But not being members, we were not able to evaluate more than just the grounds and entry way. If you got the money, the connections, and the inclination, this is supposed to be one of the great courses, and they pulled out thousands of trees to make it more "true to it's origins" before the last US Open. So apparently wind plays a big part in the golf play now. Wont be another open there until 2025, but that will extend their record number of US Opens to 10.

Non member only allowed at clubhouse to make purchase. Staff was friendly. I expected a bigger pro shop. It was nice and lots of items. Was able to see the start of the course, beautiful of course.
