This course is great for what it is--one of two courses in State College that introduces people to the sport. That said, it's not a destination course. With tee-off repositioning, you can make this course much longer and more technical (watch out for other golfers!). Park visitors are usually courteous of disc golfers, but watch out for folks strolling on the fairway at hole 3. The brush can get high at times during the summer. In the winter and spring, it's a ghost town. Have played many, many rounds here, and the course is all what you make of it. Shoot low!

Course is easy for beginners, but high grass/weeds on both sides of most of the fairways are high enough to lose discs if you aren't careful. Still a good course to learn from.
