Pine Forest comprises two very good out-and-back nine-hole loops, and as the name implies, tall, mature pine trees line the way on most holes. The pleasantly undulating fairways tend to get distinctly mogully as you approach the often elevated greens. The greens themselves are typically fast and undulating, several having at least two or sometimes three tiers - prepare to have your putting skills thoroughly tested. Pine Forest is a wonderfully enjoyable course, and one that will thoroughly test your game, especially your short game, and most especially your putting.

I have always in the past three years found the course in good shape. For the price there is no better. I play there because of the challenges. When my handicap gets to a three they get five stars.

First timer and thought the course offered a fair challenge. Nice sized elevated greens are easy to approach but some do require pin point accuracy if you're going to get down in 2. The day I played there had been a recent water pump transformer failure and they were using auxiliary power to water the fairways and greens so I have to give them a pass on some grooming but all in all the course was in pretty decent shape. I would recommend purchasing the yardage book in the pro shop before hand. Regretfully I didn't and it cost me a few strokes. Very reasonable green fees. I have paid more for a lot worse. I'll definitely be back. Very friendly staff.

We like the course very much. Interesting greens, reasonable fees. Nice day of golf.

The Pine Forest HOA passes the buck to CMG and vice versa. In a letter to the HOA dated 12.20.2017 I outlined in part the following: 1. Inequitable ARC request approvals regarding fencing. The difference between the scalloped fence with gaps vs. a privacy fence. 2. Basketball goals are an important aspect of a child’s life. I don’t necessarily have an issue with staging the basketball goal out of site when not in use, but to interpret literally as it is outlined in the covenants and restrictions is incredulous. For example: My two boys have a basketball goal as do many others in the neighborhood. One day they were playing in the drive way and took a break to eat lunch and returned to play within 30 minutes. Consequently, I received a “courtesy notice” for a basketball goal on display, which I believe is ridiculous because at that very second during lunch a CMG employee decided to drive by my house. If the BOD knew anything about a basketball goal and how it sits stationary with the assistance of water or sand in the base they would know it’s not real easy to move out of site for a 30 minute lunch nor is it reasonable to think one would do so. The HOA, CMG, and the Board of Directors and its officers seem to this home owner any way to be insular in nature, narcissistic, and egotistical who hide behind a call center member who is attempting to regurgitate the line of BS from their boss. Pine Forest Country Club sub-division is an over priced ghetto with no leadership or vision.
