Los Rios is in a sad state. It has fallen from Country Club to a state where I'm not even sure if they mow regularly. Played there just last week. Greens appeared dead and there was clover and crabgrass everywhere. Spend the extra $10 bucks and play somewhere decent. As far as I'm concerned this course is dead.

First time playing here. Staff was rude and barely helpful, not professional at all. The first tee box is sitting next to a golf range without a net so if you happen to shank it a little good luck trying to find your ball. The course itself is flat. Nothing to test your skills. Played in the middle of a Texas winter, not one tarp was seen to cover the greens during a freeze. The greens were super slow and bumpy so expect to miss those 3 ft birdie putts. Not one bathroom located out on the course. If you dirty your club or need to clean it some how, better bring your own water and scrubber cause all they have is 2 ball cleaners. Water was warm dirty so tells me they don't clean or refill their coolers out there. Saturday 1130 tee time was 37$ but I wouldn't pay 10$ for the condition this place was in. Not to mention 10 meters from a sewage treatment plant, the back 9 smelt nasty. One fairway was fenced off to repair the grass that smelled nothing but sewage. This place needs to be closed and shut down. Would rather play at pecan hollow or twin waters or anywhere else that doesn't have employees or maintenance like this. Honestly don't read into the 5 star reviews because they are local neighbors in that neighborhood that probably get a discount of some sort of the review was high. DO. NOT. GO HERE. This place is not worth the money at all!! You can play at well manicured courses for the same price elsewhere. Do not waste your money here. Starter yelled at us on hole 1 for waiting to long to tee off.. there was a 4 ball group in the middle of the fairway. Fairways had dandelion weeds everywhere. Greens are brown. Bascicslly dirt. Please. Please do not throw away your money at this place. Staff was extremely rude.

I’ll start by saying this is a fun course to play. I’ve come here quite a bit over the past 6 months and have enjoyed it. The first time I came it needed a lot of work done to the course and I can tell over the 6 months that they have been working on it and improving the course. The clubhouse could use some updates still but I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before they get to it. Right now pace of play is amazing but I’m sure as they keep fixing it up it will get busier and busier. Definitely recommend coming here if you want a fun, quick round of golf.

This course is in terrible shape. Went to play with a buddy that told me the course is awesome .. (he remembered it from years ago). There was no way to tell where the fairway and rough separated. The course looks like they quit during the middle of a renovation. Pipes exposed on the course. Mounds of dirt everywhere.... and the greens ??? Geez. They were off white/tan in color... the only green on the greens were weeds! I don’t normally right reviews but this experience compelled me to do so! This would only be a good course to take your kid too if they never learned to play and you wanted to get them out of the house. I will say the staff was nice at least!
