I recently had the opportunity to work with Stacy Mapel on 2 different occasions for improvement with putting. I found it to be excellent, I learned a lot about what I could change or improve to make all aspects of my putting better! I have seen a drastic change in my putting already! I played a round a little over a week ago & had 6 birdies! I have never had more than 3 birdies in a round ever! I am much more confident now & have a whole new outlook on putting! Thanks Stacy!

I had a great experience working with Stacy. I am 32 and have been golfing for over 20 years. I played in college, have worked with many professionals and I still maintain a mid-low single digit handicap. Stacy was the best instructor I have been to for a number of reasons. He started with the absolute basics - no one has made an adjustment to my grip since I was 12! - and clearly explained how little things were causing problems with my timing and sapping clubhead speed. He gave me simple drills to work on between lessons and the tools to help me understand whether or not I was succeeding. After a few lessons, I was hitting some of the most consistent baby-draws down the range that I ever have in my career. It is great to go out on the golf course and feel confident in my swing again!

I started taking lesson with Stacy in the fall of 2013. I had loved the game and played a lot but was not getting any better on my own, despite my own stubborn opinion that I could. So, I decided to find an instructor and after reviewing several, decided to go with Stacy. I am very glad I chose to work with Stacy and he chose to work with me. When I started, I was shooting in the 100-110 range. I am now hovering around the 90-94 mark, but am poised to make a jump into the high-mid 80's. At our first lesson, Stacy was able to evaluate and identify my strengths and weaknesses and provide commentary on opportunities and how to achieve them. He is very good at explaining the "why" behind things and the way the golf swing works. I especially enjoy how he has simplified my swing. There is nothing complex about it. The biggest help he provided was the homework assignments. I know if I didn't practice the drills he gave me on a nightly basis, I would not be where I am right now. My aim was to get better at golf so I could enjoy my time on the course more and not be embarrassed about the way I play. Well so far so good! I am more excited than ever to play and PRACTICE. I will continue to use Stacy as my instructor because I am comfortable with him and he seems to be on my page. Meaning he doesn't talk over my head or make me feel bad about my game. He has been an enthusiastic supporter of my growth and development. I definitely recommend Stacy as your next golf teaching PROFESSIONAL!

Stacey really knows the golf swing, and more importantly knows how to teach it.

I worked with Stacy over a year ago and it was the best improvement I could have made to my game. I thought I had a pretty good understanding of the golf swing but quickly realized I was missing important parts. He helped me make corrections in my grip, alignment and posture that greatly improved my play. I went from shooting low 100's for several years to shooting mid 80's consistenly. I only worked with him twice but plan on going back to polish up other aspects of my game. It did take a lot of commitment on my part by getting the range work in but if you follow direction, you will become a better player and enjoy the game more. Skip buying new clubs as they will not fix a flawed swing, invest in the lessons first.
