Went here for a wedding reception. The decorations were beautiful, the view was great, and the food was really good. They did a great job with everything.

Celebrated b'day of a friend with 10 others at the cafe. Service by June was terrific. Chicken salad sandwich had too much onion and needed either apple or tastier grapes to make it more flaverful.

I rented the ballroom on November 3 put half my deposit down for my son‘s 16th birthday party that would be January 13, confirmed my menu for food choices on December 12, I get a phone call 11 days before his party the event director Kim calls me and tells me she booked another party that was bigger than mine and she would need the ballroom for that party, I tell her no that’s not right I shouldn’t be kicked out of the ballroom because another party now is bigger than mine, she then says we are putting you and your party in the downstairs 19th hole. I tell her that’s not acceptable that’s not what I paid for and it’s not even close to being big enough to hold and accommodate the party that I have planned which is why I rented the ballroom. She then tells me I have no options. I think it’s in extreme Poor taste and no way to treat a person. It’s not my problem that she overbooked a party you don’t just pull a room out from someone who’s already paid... .and then tell them they have no options. After we thought about this we told her we wanted our money back and so conveniently three hours after I sent her an email stating I wanted my money back I’m going elsewhere she calls me and tells me she’ll give me the ballroom now which obviously she knew I was going to decline that offer she had no intentions of giving me the ballroom it was a lie to make yourself look good because she knew I wasn’t going to rent there anymore. Then she has the audacity to ask me where I’m having my party. It’s absolutely none of her business where I’m taking my business. Beware do not rent here go somewhere else. Luckily I do have real friends in the business and was able to find a venue last minute to accommodate my party and it’s more than I could have wanted to begin with.
