Nicest course in San Angelo. They have a nice clubhouse with basic food options, and there's a few good beer choices as well. The course itself is always in good shape. It can get crowded on the weekends but most people are pretty friendly. The driving range is also very nice. There are 4 putting greens, and 2 of those are chipping greens. The range is about 1000 yards from the clubhouse but they give you a cart to get out there

Beautiful greens. Even tho it is February and the fairways are still brown, green around the flags are actually really green. The fairways are landscaped beautifully with well-trimmed grass, artistically raked sandpits, waterways, rocks, and natural scrub integrated as hazards. It is a challenging course, each hole provides surprising challenges your first go-around, giving new meaning to the course name. The price was $40 per person (weekday), whether using a cart or not. However, the drinks in the club house were cheap.

Rude staff...call in to make a tee time from the parking lot was told “were swamped” so thought we would go in the club house to watch golf and nobodys inside paying to play, no one was on hole #1. Asked to play to fit in as a twosome and didnt catch anyone until the 5th hole! Thought we would try again on a week day to play 9....had a fivesome, a solo behind them and then a threesome, another solo...course marshall drives by and says nothing to the fivesome who are probably members. Still had a bit of time and asked to play another 9. One staff said 12, another said 20. Charged me 12, then decided 20 was right. I said we were inly going to play 3 holes anyways as we all had to leave in an hour. They said it was 20, so I said make 36 for 3 holes each or $0 for nothing and stagf chose $0 so refunded me by $12 back. Public course ran its its finest!!

I play here every year in October. It's a very good golf course. It's also very affordable. It's typically in good condition. The greens were excellent today. The ball sits like it's on a tee in the fairways. I usually don't have a problem getting a tee time.
