I recently eloped at Justin Trails Resort and it was an amazing experience. I wanted a rustic, intimate country elopement and Justin Trails Resort exceeded my expectations!!Donna arranged everything for our special day and it was perfect, from the flowers, the officiant, and wedding dinner. The property is an amazing back drop for wedding photos. We stayed in the Paul Bunyan Cabin and it was so cozy, delicious homemade breakfast every morning. Don and Donna are gracious hosts, I highly recommend..and they have Llamas!!!

My husband and I eloped here New Year’s Day this year and it was absolutely perfect. We got married in and stayed in the Paul Bunyan cabin. It was great! Huge tub, comfy beds, and such a romantic space. The grounds are gorgeous too, the perfect spot for wedding pictures. Don and Donna, the owners, were our witnesses and they are the kindest people. Donna coordinated our wedding, took care of the flowers, and makes the BEST breakfasts!!! A very relaxing spot owned by great people! We will be back every year for sure!

Headed to Justin Trails to play the disc golf courses. The big course is 3 miles long with a variety of length and elevation. Played in late winter, so the summer setup would have different challenges. Cabins and camping are available if you wish to stay overnight. Owners are friendly and accommodating. Very good experience.

My wife and I booked five nights in the Little House on the Prairie for our honeymoon. We left after only one, as we were very disappointed with the cabin, especially when you consider the price. The tub cannot be filled enough before running out of hot water. We were kept up at night by the sound of mice and the uncomfortable bed. The gas fire place, although pretty, is nowhere near adequate to heat the tiny cabin. Finally, our room was not ready at our agreed upon arrival time.

I’m sure this is a beautiful place to stay in the summer, but our experience here was not great. My husband and I were looking for a nice getaway for a few days after our wedding. We arrived to a cabin that they don’t give you a key for so you can’t lock it if you leave. There was no door on the bathroom, just a curtain so as you can imagine it’s super romantic to listen to each other use the bathroom. The advertised whirlpool looked brand new, however there was only enough hot water to fill it about a third of the way. We decided to put our feet in at least to warm up(heat in the cabin also didn’t work very well) and when we turned the jets on it kept setting the smoke alarm off! Finally decided to just settle in and watch a movie, and that’s when we started to see all the mice. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve grown up going camping and up north so I’m not afraid of mice and I know when it’s cold they try and come inside, but when I’m paying $230 a night I would expect to not have to watch and listen to dozens of mice scurry all over the place I’m paying to stay in. Just was not impressed with this place and left early after only a night feeling very disappointed.
