My guy Ryan is a great golf instructor. I started going to him at the beginning of last season and took 6 lessons spread out through the year. His teaching style is very adaptive and is based around finding the right swing for you, rather than trying to jam the same swing onto all students. I have been to other instructors before that had basically tried to undo some of the things I was doing well in an effort to over-simplify the swing. Ryan is all about cultivating the strengths and incorporating them to work correctly, rather than scrapping everything and starting over. He clearly explains what you are doing correctly and incorrectly and then provides drills to improve on the faults. Another awesome thing he does is linking all the lessons through CoachNow, so you can watch back your videos with his commentary at anytime and don't need to worry about remembering everything he says in the moment. It's also cool to watch through old videos and see how much progress has been made. I have never had so much confidence in my game and I will be re-upping on another package for next season to continue dropping my scores. I have gained 30+ yards on all of my clubs through a more proper technique thanks to Golf 312

I came to Golf 312 as a beginner and was very happy with the outcome. The three phase approach really works and we spent a lot of time building a foundation which helped me long term. Noth Chris and Ryan are very knowledgeable and they speak in general terms. The price is great too. I highly recommend taking lessons.

I was gifted three lessons and enjoyed all three sessions. As someone new to the game I enjoyed Chris’s patience and advice. The best part was probably the video and coaching that is sent via email that allows you to review your session. Honestly highly recommend this studio to improve your game.

Checked out Golf 312 a week ago and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The shop looks great - incredibly welcoming and comfortable. Rep's the Chicago vibe well, but focuses on great golf performance tuning. His high tech equipment and instruction, which is the main reason to check it out, improved my swing immediately. I can't wait to get to the range to keep tuning my swing. Plus, the price point is way more affordable than the few and far between shops in Chicago.

I completed a 5-pack of lessons with Chris after a few years away from the game with a back injury. I wasn't sure how much improvement I could expect to see from lessons, but I saw measured results after each one. Chris is great at using video to show you exactly what you're doing to cause an undesired result, and then giving you a technique to change that and reinforcing the change again with video. I used to slice everything, and launch the ball at angles that reduced distance. We changed my grip, stance, back-swing, and follow-through and it's night-and-day from where I was before. I enjoy the game so much more now, and am making time to play or get to the range much more frequently. Thanks Chris!
