My husband and I went here the other day for his birthday dinner. Right away we were impressed with how cozy it was. It is on the smaller side, but still feels very elegant and homey at the same time. The food was amazing, the service quick and friendly. We were able to sit close to the fireplace and enjoy the ambiance long after we finished our meal. The perfect spot for date night and a great choice for excellent Italian food!

Absolutely amazing. Wonderful waitress, delicious food, and a very warm environment. The owner personally thanked each guest for coming in. Food was prepared quickly and service over all was great!

Amazing food, friendly service/staff but the food wait time was up to par, at least when I went there.

Last night was our first time to Porta Romana, we had heard about it through our friends. It is such a cute and cozy place. The sun dried tomato paste for the bread is to die for! Great food, friendly staff and amazing food!

First time visitors to this restaurant and all we can say is that it was excellent on all points. Nice room, super friendly/knowledgeable staff (Sunshine) and the best Italian food we have had in years. We will be back and have actually made two more reservations for the busy month of December. Highly recommended.
