I have to say, my feelings about this place are very mixed. The first time I went to Chuck's ended up being wonderful, with excellent food and excellent service! While a bit on the pricey side, it felt perfect for a special occasion. The most recent visit left me incredibly disappointed. While the flavour of the steak was good, the fact that 75% of it was inedible gristle is simply unacceptable. I'll concede I may be a bit more picky than others, but my company that evening also agreed that the cut of meat I got was essentially garbage. When I brought this to the waiter's attention, he was very nonchalant, unapologetic, and even dismissive about my complaint. While I was compensated by being given a free dessert, I didn't feel like a valued customer at all. (And how that "steak" even made it out of the kitchen is a bit surprising.) I hope you guys step up your game and work on some consistency and caring for your clients (or at least get better at feigning the latter).

The aged steak I ordered was perfectly cooked and so amazingly flavourful....but the service lack slightly. Just how I feel. So close to a five star for me. Just not quite for this kind of restaurant.

Me and my snowboard/skiing buddies stopped here for an "après ski" supper. Its a high end place, not cheap, but the meal was awesome. They know their stuff, presentation, service and chef's are top notch. Lots of meat cuts, and if you're in luck they even have some specialty meats (venison, caribou and others, but you should inquire before hand).I even had vegetarian options, which was unexpected.

This place is very tasty, tasty enough for us to return the following day for desert that we couldn't fit in the day before. Staff are super nice and friendly, but it's so expensive. Too expensive for me to give 5 stars. Very good, but not great value.

We started with the steak tartare which was really good. For mains we had the 16 oz ribeye which was an 8/10 (it was pretty good but I’ve had better) and the prime rib which was great. The service was excellent and the restaurant had a good atmosphere.
