Wonderful food and great service. The service was solid and the prices were, surprisingly, not out of this world. The need in Alberta is some of the best in North America and this steakhouse knows exactly how to prepare each piece to perfection.

It isn't bad but I don't plan to get steak here anymore. They never seem to cook it correctly and I found it very plain. But the service is very good. Other food options are good as well.

Typical keg , nothing special to mention. But the server is a bit aloof. That was the only problem. (Dec. 2017) Went to the Keg again last Dec, both the steak and prime rib (roast) was tough. It seemed like getting a good piece of steak was no guarantee at the Keg and it depended your luck of the day. (Dec. 2018)

The atmosphere was nice but the food was horrible. I ordered the steak and lobster, the steak was not good. By the time the server came by to ask about the food everybody else was finished eating. They did Offer $40discount on the meal which was nice. My wife ordered the prime rib which was also cooked wrong, she was up all night throwing up. The keg quality has gone down hill.

My wife and I snuck away from our kids to celebrate her birthday and Jimmy at The Keg made our nights. The food was great, but more importantly, the service provided by Jimmy was phenomenal. The perfect balance of conversational banter and prompt service made our evening. Servers like Jimmy are what make places like The Keg worth visiting again and again. Thank you!
