Food was not good. When I first visited this location, I had the Texas skillet. It was bare and dry. The Calgary trail location does it much better. Now this visit I decided against the skillet since I knew I'd be disappointed. I got the option to build your own plate. I got 2 thinly sliced pieces of back bacon with a spinach omelette that had a rectangle slice of cheese melted on the top. By the time it made it to our table, it looked like shiny plastic. Super disappointed in the cheap low quality cheese. The French toast was good though! Now when the waitress asked how things tasted, we said, not so great, and response was "oh okay". Awesome response! I think my mini relationship with Smitty's might have to come to an end

We have been to this location many times within the last few months after moving to the area and it has been a great experience all around! The staff is very friendly and show great hospitality, the food and drinks have always been awesome every time we go. We will continue to come here as it is now “our spot!” Thank you to the hardworking staff for making it so enjoyable

Delicious . For my family, this is our go to spot in mill woods. When it come to breckfast or supper, we're never disapointed. Great service , super friendly staff.

How can you mess up a club sandwich? The piece of turkey was about half the size of the bread, and so dry and hard it was absolutely inedible. They had the audacity to claim that they cooked it fresh that day, and grilled it to heat it up. Even if I was blind, I could tell how old it was just by touching it. It was like a piece of jerky - hard as a bullet, and drier than the Sahara. A club sandwich is not exactly a culinary challenge. It's obvious that the chef has lost all passion for cooking, since that abomination was deemed acceptable to serve to paying customers. Downright insulting. If you seriously have that much contempt for your patrons, close the doors.

Arrived here at exactly 6:00pm with my mom, my sister, my nephew and my niece. We all left at 6:26pm without even being offered water. We are now at Boston Pizza's and in less than 20 minutes we had drinks at our table and three interactions with our waitress. We sat at Smitty's for 20 minutes before requesting a server as we were ready to order drinks as well as our food and the kids (7&3) were getting hangry. Which the guy that seated us abruptly interrupted our request with a wave of his hand and said "she'll be right there" we waited 5 more minutes and left. After I took notice of all the dirty tables and the lack of staff, we felt they simply didn't have time for us and were severely understaffed. I didn't want to imagine what the kitchen looked like if the dining room was so messy. 2 stars just cause I know it's probably a staffing issue but the attitude could have been a bit better... oh well... thanks anyway Smittys.
