Almost gave up on Montana's due to another poor locations service. Went here with my husband and son the other day. Service was amazing. I also like that it's less dark and more open concept.. The server was busy so the manager took our order which was amazing she apologized which no need because everything was quick. Food was excellent and surpassed other locations quality. Will definitely make the drive for this location!

My family and I are very low maintenance customers. Hardly complain as I am a server myself. I know how hard the job is but our server barely checked on us that it took her 20 minutes after our food came to see we don’t have cutleries on the table. Food is bland. My steak was dry and cooked poorly I had to send it back. Left the restaurant hungry and unhappy. Definitely not coming back again.

I love the idea of Montana's, from the layout, the decor, the placeware, and the menu, which promises an unbelievable selection of items. The execution, however, is under par, resulting in an eating experience that's somewhere between Smitty's and Earls. If you offer too many things it's not unusual to be merely adequate at many of them. The staff are chipper, friendly, and well-versed in the offerings, but they seem overworked, covering too many tables over too much space. (Disclaimer: I've never served tables, but I've been seated frequently.) We've enjoyed our meals here, and enjoyed redeeming our Groupons, but it always feels like we slightly missed the mark, and that's not the feeling to have when walking out the door.

Group of 7 people, 6 had food complaints. Ranging from wrong-cooked steak to no flavour on meat platter, to a lacking salad. A noticeable quality decrease since times of past. Food presentation was also sub-par, appeared just thrown onto the plate. And the bathrooms were messy. Saving graces include the friendly and helpful staff, and the clean establishment, and okay food.

3 months ago my fiance and I had a wonderful time, lovely service. Last night we ended up leaving hungry and upset. Told by the hostess that the wait was 30 mins. Left and came back in 20. Told the table was called and it would be another 5 minutes. 30 mins later, they had sat 4 families, 2 other groups and a table of 8. Needless to say, they value quantity over quality for theirs business. We can take ours elsewhere.
