Absolutely amazing service called ahead to have order ready for me to pick up on the drive home. Arrived and it was just getting boxed up. Now when I got home I didn’t expect to have fish and crisps as good as back east. Thursday special was amazing. Sorry for late review just having time now. Definitely will be ordering from here more since I don’t live close to any restaurants open past 7 pm

This place is quaint. The food is passable.

Use to love this place Went last week service was slow and after 40 minutes. The waitress proceeded to tell my wife and I that they lost are order and that the fryers had been shut done and there was no chicken to fulfill my order left hungry without even a apology...Let alone any compensation for wasting my time. Went back a week later thinking was just a bad experience. Stood around for 5min waiting for a table to be cleared off. My wife ended up clearing a table for us. Where we ended up sitting for 20min without any of the staff even looking at us. I looked around and seen 3 other tables waiting to be served. One older couple was waiting the gentleman got up and was looking for service to no avail as the staff passed his table many times at this point my wife and I decided to get up and leave. Not sure what is going on at this establishment we used to love going to but at this point would not recommend this place to anyone. At this point very undecided if we'll go back...

Massive portions but good food overall.

Stopped for gas and was pleasantly surprised to see there was a restaurant beside the esso because I was hungry and in no mood for gas station food. Walked towards the restaurant and was immediately greeted by a gentleman who was standing with 2 more men near the wall. (I had the impression he was the owner) I wanted food to go so I walked up to the counter where a waitress pointed out the specials and gave me a menu to flip through as well. The takeout menu on the wall consisted of Fritou chicken options which all looked really good but I settled on the beef dip instead. $12.99 + fat. OMG the French fries were fantastic. Crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. These fries were way better than McDonald's fries. The beef dip sandwich was large and overflowing with beef and the dip was savoury and salty and a welcome accompiment. Best to go meal I have had in a while. Food was a definite 5 star but raring the overall restaurant experience a 4. I will definitely eat there again when I have the chance.
