Used to really enjoy the food here. The menu has always been a bit more expensive than other Chinese restaurants (which I didn't mind for the flavor), at least until my most recent trip a month ago. We were curious about a beef dish that was supposed to be very spicy and of course the waitress recommended the dish and said it was tasty. So we ordered the dish. When we got it the beef was low quality and it didn't seem like there was any spice at all. We asked the waitress if the dish was supposed to be spicy and she simply told us it was made with XO sauce, which didn't really answer our question and doesn't really constitute as 'very spicy' as advertised in the menu. Anyway the food was mainly bland, and it seems like the quality has gone down in recent time.

I usually don't go out of my way to give a rating for restaurants, but I've been looking for a good Chinese place in the north Edmonton for over a year now and this is the only place with good Chinese food. Been there twice for the past week. Definitely recommend the food here.

Great service, good atmosphere. Dishes were tasty, the portions were pretty good. The staff are all very friendly and will help you out with any menu items.
