Socrates is a nice little restaurant sitting off of St Albert trail. Its not a large place so it always seems busy and full of customers. The staff are friendly and the wait times are not long. The menu is very extensive with lots of choice. The breakfast we enjoyed was good and I would compare it to a Smitty's or Denny's. The portions were plentiful. I would go there again.

I was very interested to go for breakfast at Socrates. I've heard good things about the food. The service was great and the atmosphere was typical Canadian breakfast restaurant. The food is very typical to good Canadian breakfast houses. This would fall on a traditional favorite for me. I would recommend this restaurant for those seeking a Canadian breakfast for a good price tag.

I've been going here for years, this place used to be good. Unfortunately service is now terrible, and the servers are extremely rude and don't deal with mistakes well. Food is good, well served. Will not be returning anymore.

It was much better then expected. The service was friendly and the food was good. It is a family restaurant and much better than Ricky's All Day Grill or Cora's
