Had the ginger chicken and hot pot. Chicken was delicious, hot pot tasted okay. Would have given 4 stars but the delivery of the hot pot was terrible! Our server put the stove at the highest heat setting, stopped by to check how things were tasting about 2 minutes later, and then didn't come by to check the boiling level or turn down the heat. I wasn't sure if it was to keep boiling for that long, or if I was allowed to touch the stove. I figured she would come by soon to turn down the temperature or add more broth. The broth started burning, realized she messed up so I turned off the stove. Too late though cause the smoke set off the fire alarms and had to have the restaurant and hotel evacuated. Once we were back in she brought a new broth and pot and put it on the proper heat. A different server helped with heat adjustment when I accidentally turned it off. We got a discount (I'm assuming the whole restaurant did) but not once did our server say sorry, nor did a manager come by to ask us what happened or apologize either. It's like they assumed it was all our fault? If you're going to offer hot pot you need to have proper ventilation and also monitor the cooking process, or clearly explain what the customer is allowed to do and show them how the stove works.

Great views overlooking the Bow Valley, good fusion of Western and Asian cuisine and Sapporo beer on tap. Perfect combination for a quick meal after a day in the mountains. The menu has changed over the years but the one item which remains unchanged and unbeatable are the spicy tuna rolls. Highly recommended!

Amazing food! Some of the best Japanese food we have had in ages!! The best part, it was all Gluten-free, and I do mean everything! As someone who has celiac disease, this is a rarity. The service was very good. Our server was attentive and was very accommodating with our little kids, offering them cranberry juice and soda. We plan eat here everytime we are in Canmore. Highly recommended!

Food was definitely not worth the prices. Service was really bad. Our group received our meals all at different times. Some some finished their meals before others even got theirs. Then it took forever to get our bills when we were finished. However, the guy who fills up the water jugs was 5 stars.
