Came to Coaldale for the Demolition Derby..staff were friendly, room was clean, AC was greatly appreciated. Had steak sandwich in pub, excellent food, staff were friendly, owner was visible and stopped by our table to check that everything was going well, noticed band was playing at 8:00 pm, plan was to stay for 1 set, band was amazing, stayed until midnight! In summary, we had a great stay at Coaldale Inn and will be back in the near future! Thank you for a great weekend!

Restaurant is decent. Dont much care for the way they do their buffets for breakfast. But ordering from the menu you absolutely can't go wrong. Service is pretty good too. Edit: to expand on the buffet comment, the food is very clean and tastes great, but when one of the main options is eggs Benedict, the steam heater overcooks them to the point where the yolks are harder than the fork you are poking them with. Perhaps monitor customer flow and prepare less of them ahead of time? Literally everything else was spot on though.

Must try the pork schnitzel. And by Must I mean before all else. Clean modern decor. Quiet even on weekends so no wait times. Great patio in the summer.

Me and my dad's burgers were very salty, my mother didn't get the tea she asked for and the service was below average. Would not recommend!
